Glenn Close
Born: March 19, 1947 - Greenwich, Connecticut
This versatile, striking actress graduated from the College of William and Mary with a BA in Anthropology and Drama, the latter more of use to her in her current career.
She started off on the stage, performing in many Broadway and off- productions. When she moved to the silver screen she earned an Academy Award nomination right off the bat for her performance as Robin Williams' mother in The World According to Garp in 1982.
Early on the sexpot, she has now settled down to perform a wide variety of choice roles.
Personal Quote: "I never wanted to be a man. I feel sorry for them."
