Harrison Ford
Born July 13, 1942 - Chicago, Illinois
This versatile, handsome actor with a wry sense of humor grew up in Park Ridge, Illinois, and was only a mediocre student. After dropping out of college, he did a number of TV movies which were not received well, so he switched to carpentry.
George Lucas cast him in both American Graffiti and Star Wars, and after that his career took off. He is best known as Han Solo of the Star Wars series and Indiana Jones of the series of the same name.
He is a also a master carpenter and built his ranch home from the ground up, and has been named "Most Handsome" and "Greatest Movie Star" in any number of magazines over the years.
