Jodie Foster

Born: November 19, 1962 - Los Angeles, CA

This beautiful and intelligent actress started off in show-business: quite literally appearing in commercials at age 2.

She continued working on TV, both in shows and commercials, until her break-out role in the movie Taxi Driver in 1976. She received an Academy Award nomination for this role, and she hasn't stopped working in the industry, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes.

It's amusing to note that she never took acting lessons, drawing on her innate talents and skills for her very enviable career.

Personal Quote: "If I fail, at least I will have failed my way."
