Bill Murray

Born September 21, 1950 in Wilmette, Illinois

This funny man known for his deadpan deliveries and understated humor was the fifth of nine children, and along with his siblings worked as caddies to pay for tuition at Loyola Academy. He had a fairly normal childhood without any overt show-business aspirations and enrolled at Regis College in Denver to study medicine, but was kicked out after being arrested for marijuana possession.

He did some radio work, but his career took off after joining the Saturday Night Live TV crew. Two of his earlier works, Ghostbusters and Groundhog Day, secured his position as a top Hollywood comedic actor.

He is a diehard Chicago Cubs fan and even owns a minor league baseball team in Charleston, South Carolina called the Riverdogs.

Personal Quote: "I'm a nut, but not just a nut."
