An outgoing, candid and intelligent young woman, she can portray both the vulnerable and the wicked on screen. She grew up in Santa Monica, the youngest of 4, and made her screen debut at nine years old in the movie Mermaids, where she worked with Cher.
She worked steadily and displayed her professionalism early, acting as young Wednesday in the Addams Family movies but had more critical success with The Ice Storm. More recent successes are The Opposite of Sex, Sleepy Hollow with Johnny Depp, and Monster with Charlize Theron.
Personal Quote: "I'm not perfect-looking and I don't say the right things, I'm a little different, nothing really special, but I guess I come across as a little more real to people and that comes through on the screen. I know I look young, but with the right make-up I can look older. I definitely feel older."
